Description Overview Mapei Mapecem Quickpatch is a premium, high-flow, rapid-setting cementitious patch mortar designed for fast and durable concrete repairs. It is ideal for restoring damaged concrete surfaces including floors, driveways, sidewalks, and slabs. The versatile formula permits feather-edge repair through to several centimetres of fill in one application, reducing project delays and improving work efficiency. Applications & Substrate Compatibility Use Mapecem Quickpatch for patching and resurfacing both interior and exterior concrete surfaces. It works over aged or new concrete, screed, and other masonry substrates. It’s also suitable as a base layer before applying self-levelling compounds when substrate restoration is needed. Because of its flowable nature, it’s great for filling irregular hollows and defects. Performance & Cure Profile Mapecem Quickpatch exhibits excellent workability thanks to its high-flow formulation, allowing it to flow into voids without excessive effort. It sets rapidly to reduce turn-around time on site. Under normal conditions, it can accept light traffic, and it cures to full strength over time, offering long-lasting durability in repairs exposed to foot and vehicular use. Mixing & Application Instructions Mix Mapecem Quickpatch with clean water to achieve a fluid, homogeneous mortar. Follow recommended water ratios to maintain performance. Pour or trowel the mortar into prepared voids, working it in to fully contact edges and existing concrete. For deeper fills, maintain good compaction and avoid overworking the surface. Always follow mixing time guidelines and avoid adding excess water. Surface Preparation Ensure that the substrate is sound, clean, and free of dust, oil, grease, or loose particles. Mechanical preparation (grinding, shot blasting) may be needed on smooth or glazed surfaces. Saturate absorbent surfaces before applying the patch mortar, but ensure no standing water remains. For best bonding, edges of repairs should be squared or slightly keyed.
