Description Product Overview STOPGAP 1500 is a high-performance, water-mix smoothing compound developed for preparing sound internal subfloors prior to the installation of new floorcoverings. It is formulated for fast-track projects, offering rapid setting and drying characteristics that minimise downtime on site. The compound can be applied directly over old adhesive residues such as bitumen and carpet tile tackifiers without the need for priming, improving efficiency during refurbishment work. It is also moisture tolerant, allowing application over damp substrates prior to the installation of surface membranes.
