Description Overview Mapei Ultrabond Eco V4 SP Fiber is a fiber-reinforced, high-performance adhesive formulated for resilient and textile floor coverings. It delivers superior wet grab, long open time, and exceptional final bond strength. Because the formula contains reinforcing fibers, it enhances mechanical stability, reduces shrinkage, and provides improved dimensional control during installation. Applications & Suitable Uses The adhesive is ideal for bonding a wide range of coverings, including vinyl, PVC, rubber, and textile flooring, over absorbent or non-absorbent substrates. It performs exceptionally well in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings — especially in areas with heavy foot traffic, wheeled chairs, or temperature variations. Moreover, it can be used with underfloor heating systems when substrate conditions are properly controlled. Application Instructions Stir well before use to ensure consistent texture. Apply an even layer using a notched trowel appropriate to the covering type. Allow the adhesive to reach its tacky stage before laying the flooring. Position and press the covering firmly to guarantee full contact and eliminate air pockets. Roll or press once more within 30 minutes of placement to secure adhesion. Surface Preparation Ensure substrates are flat, dry, structurally sound, and free of dust, oil, or old adhesive residues. For smooth or non-porous substrates, light abrasion or priming may be required. Always confirm that moisture and temperature conditions meet manufacturer recommendations.
