Description Overview Mapei Ultrabond Eco VS90 Plus is a premium, high-temperature dispersion adhesive specially formulated for resilient and textile floor and wall coverings. It combines strong initial grab, rapid set, and excellent final strength with low VOC emissions and high shear resistance. This makes it ideal for challenging installations and environments where dimensional stability and bond performance are critical. Applications & Substrate Use Ultrabond Eco VS90 Plus works with a wide range of floor and wall coverings, including homogeneous and heterogeneous PVC, vinyl, rubber flooring, LVT, and textile finishes. Designed for interior use, it bonds securely to absorbent substrates such as concrete, screeds, and primed tile surfaces, and performs exceptionally well with underfloor heating systems. The adhesive’s strong, flexible bond makes it ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial settings—particularly in areas exposed to heavy foot traffic, caster wheels, or other dynamic loads. Performance & Technical Properties Ultrabond Eco VS90 Plus is a creamy paste (beige) with: Waiting time: 0–10 minutes Open time: 20–30 minutes Light foot traffic: 3–5 hours Full usability: 24–48 hours Coverage: 0.25–0.50 kg/m² depending on trowel size Low emission: certified EC1 Plus (very low VOC) The formula ensures excellent wetting even on impervious backings, strong peel strength, and high shear resistance. Once cured, the adhesive imparts excellent dimensional stability to the installed flooring. Application & Use Instructions Ensure substrates are sound, level, clean, and free from contamination. Stir the adhesive before use to ensure uniform consistency. Apply with a suitable notched trowel (e.g. No. 1 or 2) to the substrate. Place the flooring while the adhesive is wet, ensuring full contact. Roll or press to eliminate air pockets and improve contact. Avoid exceeding open time limits or delaying installation beyond workable limits. Surface Preparation Prepare substrates by removing dust, grease, old coatings, and weak layers. On smooth or low-absorbency surfaces, apply a suitable primer or smoothing compound before adhesive installation. Confirm that moisture limits and environmental conditions are within acceptable ranges before proceeding.
