Description Product Overview STOPGAP P131 is a water-based acrylic floor primer designed to promote the adhesion of smoothing compounds and adhesives to both absorbent and non-absorbent subfloors. It is suitable for a wide range of substrates and plays a critical role in ensuring consistent curing and long-term performance of flooring systems. When applied to absorbent surfaces, it regulates porosity to prevent rapid moisture loss from levelling compounds, reducing the risk of pinholing and poor curing. On non-absorbent substrates, it acts as a bonding layer to improve adhesion. STOPGAP P131 is coloured green to provide visual coverage control during application and is suitable for use over underfloor heating systems and in marine installations.
