The flatness of a non-sloping substrate is measured by sliding a 2m ruler over the entire surface of the floor. In some spots a gap will be apparent under the edge of the ruler. Position a graduated spacer in those gaps to determine the depth in mm. Check the separation in terms of standards and local standards which specify flatness tolerances. Share
